Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version:1.7.54

Please provide:

• Full version details: Help > About Cursor, then copy all version info
• Install method: did you download 1.7.54 manually or was it an auto-update?
• Screenshots: a screenshot of the update prompt and the version number before/after updating
• Antivirus/Firewall: any security software that might be blocking updates?

Temporary workaround: try a clean reinstall:

1. Completely uninstall Cursor
2. Download the latest version from https://cursor.com/
3. Install it and check if the issue persists
