Since April 23, 2025, I’ve been locked out of Cursor with the error: “Your request has been blocked as our system has detected suspicious activity from your account.” This happened while refactoring code, and I suspect Claude misinterpreted my instructions, causing too many requests.
- Setup: MacBook Pro M3, macOS Sonoma, Cursor 0.49.4
- Tried: Google/email logins, checked forum (no solutions)
- Situation: Contacted support, no resolution yet. I was 4 days from subscribing to the Pro plan, but now I’m stuck and worried about losing access long-term.
Has anyone faced this? Any tips to fix the block or prevent Claude from overloading requests? This is my first forum post, so please let me know if I missed any details. Really need Cursor back to avoid disruptions!
