Agents Window in Cursor Desktop shows “Files are not available for self-hosted workers from the web”

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

I am using Cursor Desktop with the latest Agents Window / Agent Mode UI. When trying to browse/view files for a self-hosted worker session, the UI shows:

“Files are not available for self-hosted workers from the web. Use the Cursor desktop app to browse files.”

But I am already using the Cursor desktop app. This looks like the Agents Window is incorrectly treating the desktop UI as the web UI, or incorrectly disabling file browsing for self-hosted worker sessions.

Steps to Reproduce

Open Cursor Desktop.
Open the new Agents Window / Agent Mode UI.
Open or start a self-hosted worker / self-hosted agent session.
Try to browse or view files from the agent/session UI.
Observe the message saying files are unavailable “from the web,” even though this is Cursor Desktop.

Expected Behavior

Because I am using Cursor Desktop, I expect to be able to browse and open files for the self-hosted worker session from the Agents Window. If file browsing is intentionally unavailable for this setup, the message should not say to use the desktop app when the desktop app is already being used.
