Attached context keeps disappearing

I started a Long Context Chat, added files as context, but while switching between editors, the attached files disappear from the ‘context’ and I have to reattach them each time

Key map to add current file as context

Hi @simpleme , I see, so you want the default ‘current file’ that is selected when pressing Ctrl + L in the Editor to be ‘pinned’ to the chat automatically so that when navigating to another file tab it doesn’t go away? Or, alternatively, a keyboard shortcut to add the current file to the ‘pinned’ context of the chat? I’ve taken a screenshot below to try and capture the current dynamic so that the devs can understand the dynamic more quickly. Please let me know if my understanding is correct…

In my case even pinned ones disappear when navigating to another editor.
No matter if I drag the files into the chat or use ‘+’ to add them, many times (but it appears to be random) some files will detach from the context and disappear from there, so I can never be sure my request includes all my intended files unless I double check each time right before pressing “Enter”. Even after I did that, sometimes some files disappear from the context in the middle of the conversation

I am experiencing this behaviour also - steps to reproduce:

1. Add files via the + button in Ctrl + L chat
2. Or, add files via the @ Files symbol
3. Navigate between file tabs
4. The files that are present in the chat context are removed (seemingly arbitrarily)

Cursor Chat removes the selected files in the context when I switch between tabs since last update
