Sorry for the hassle. Thanks for reporting this. Please try these:
• Right-click the Sign In button: Instead of left-clicking, right-click the “Sign In” button in Cursor and select “Open link in browser” or copy the URL to manually open it in your browser. This workaround has resolved the issue for several users.
• Check network diagnostics: Go to Cursor Settings > Network and click Run Diagnostics to test your connection to Cursor’s servers. If there are connectivity issues, temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus software as they may be blocking the sign-in process.
• Try a different browser: If the default browser isn’t working, copy the login URL and try it in a different browser (Edge, Firefox, Safari) as some users have found Chrome can have popup issues with Cursor authentication.
Please try these steps and let us know if the issue still persists.
I tried the rightclick metho,d it dind towkr. I tried in incognito window too. I also tried in a different browser Safari and it still didnt work. When running diagnostics, there are connectivity issues but i dont have any firewall or antivirus software. I thought it could have been the wifi so i tried my mobile hotspot and the same connectivity issues exist. Ive been using cursor for almost 10 months now and ive never had issues till past 2-3 weeks.
