I see you’ve already disabled HTTP/2 and IPv6. Let’s try a bit more diagnostics:
Quick checks:
- Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics. Please share a screenshot of the results.
- Settings → Tools & MCP. If you have any MCP servers configured, try disabling them temporarily. One user fixed it this way: Repeatedly says connection issue when my connection is fine
- Are you using a corporate VPN, proxy, or SSL inspection (Zscaler, etc.)? If so, please try without them.
- Launch Cursor with extensions disabled:
cursor --disable-extensions, then try starting a new chat.
Please also share:
- A screenshot of Network Diagnostics
- Any errors from Help → Toggle Developer Tools → Console
