I was fortunate to be given some cursor usage credits. I’ve found that for both local and cloud agents, the credits are being used before I hit my monthly usage limit. Based on the response here: How to use the credits obtained by cursor from Refer friends , I would think that is not intended and I should go through my plan’s monthly limit first before the credits. Is that accurate? Thank you!

The credit on your account works differently from the referral credits in that linked thread. It’s set up to be used first, before your plan’s included usage, which is why your Pro usage shows 0% while the credit goes down. Your included usage isn’t lost. It’s still there for when the credit runs out or expires on January 10, 2027.
The “Free” rows on your usage page are the requests that were covered by the credit.
