you can fix this issue, by changing your default browser to some other browser. I did to Chromium type browser, and it worked.

Trying to login but nothing happens

For what it’s worth… I have the same issue when installing on a new computer. I just closed Chrome and then clicked the Log In button again and it proceeded as usual.

Unable to login from cursor app

The issue occurred in windows. It is now solved after I opened my cursor app in admin mode.
