Hey, thanks for the report. From the symptoms it looks like a known network/proxy issue. Please check:
- In Settings
Cmd+,search for “HTTP/2” → enable “Disable HTTP/2” → restart Cursor. Accepted solution: Connection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN

If it didn’t help, please send:
- The Request ID from the chat menu → Copy Request ID
- A screenshot of the error and exact reproduction steps
- macOS System Settings → Network → Firewall: confirm Cursor is allowed, re-allow if needed
- Confirm that VPN/proxy/Zscaler are off and retry the test
