In the past few days Cursor has become unusable with constant crashes when running basic tasks.
This happens when ever the AI is performing a task such as generating a script

This issue has made it impossible to use my paid subscription effectively for several days. After a few minutes waiting I typically get the error below. It means I can effectively do about 5 mins work per hour.
Please note I am not using any marketplace extensions.
