same unauthorize issue
request id is above.

For anyone seeing this issue, there are three main causes for this error that you should rule out before posting here:

1. You are purchased your account from a 3rd party - most of these accounts are setup using stolen bank details, and we are now aggressively detecting and blocking these accounts. As such, accounts not purchased directly from Cursor will be blocked.

2. You are using a temporary email address - due to abuse coming from accounts setup with temporary email addresses, we are now blocking requests from accounts with a known temporary email address. Please use standard email address providers, such as @gmail.com, for your account.

3. You are using a VPN - again due to abuse, we are having to block certain VPN providers from accessing Cursor services. While we don’t believe VPNs are inherently bad, we have to enforce blocks on certain providers that are the source of high volumes of abuse, to ensure Cursor services are not distributed for normal users.

If none of the above apply, and you believe there is no reason for a block, please post a request ID below, and we will be happy to help! For the users above, I have direct messaged you each.

Me too

i have the same problem, and also, after premium requests on the pro account, slow requests take too long, I’m waiting for 10 minutes for the simplest question

mail account [email protected]

It looks like you may have been using a VPN or something, as I cannot see your requests on our backend. Can you try again with on a different network, to confirm this is the issue?

Hey, this is due to our capacity issues with Anthropic.

You can learn more with the link below, but for now, you can avoid queuing by enabling usage-based pricing, where you will be charged $0.04 per request to Claude 3.5 Sonnet, but you won’t have to wait.

Alternatively, other models should have much shorter queue times.

You’re right, but even for a simple task on the pro version, I end up waiting 5 to 10 minutes for slow requests. Do you think this is normal? I don’t think so. As you mentioned, I’m also trying Claude 3.5 on Haiku, and the same issue persists there. All I want is a non-premium experience that’s not as slow as this once the premium requests are used up. For example, with ChatGPT’s pro version, this isn’t an issue. Even when the premium requests are depleted, the other models still work quickly. Waiting 5–10 minutes for a single prompt seems like a serious problem. I don’t know what’s causing it. The support team has been saying since yesterday that they’ll connect me with someone, but they still haven’t, and I’m still waiting for an email.

I believe Haiku is considered 1/3rd a premium request and, as such, is still subject to the same queuing mechanism, although I’ll raise this with the team to see if this is still right moving forward.

You should be able to use OpenAI and DeepSeek models with little to no queue while we resolve this ongoing issue with Anthropic.

When I use the DeepSeek model, I get a “unsupported model” warning, even though I’m a pro user. What could be the reason for this?

Can you send a screenshot? DeepSeek cannot be used in the agent composer yet, which may be the error you are seeing.

Yes, the error occurs when I try to use it as a composer.

Have you got a screenshot you can send over?

Hey, this model doesn’t work in agent mode yet. Try switching to normal mode.

Just got this issue, started trying Cursor yesterday, today got an Unauthoried Request, opted to make an account from my business email to my main email, same issue, so I just purchased pro in hopes it’d fix but it didn’t.
