Cursor IDE
Describe the Bug
When using the @ mention feature to reference files in the chat input, the dropdown menu that appears is cut off at the bottom of the screen, making it impossible to see or select files that appear lower in the list.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Cursor chat panel at the bottom of the screen
- Type
@in the chat input to trigger file mention - Observe the dropdown menu that appears with file suggestions
- Notice that the bottom portion of the dropdown is cut off by the screen edge
Expected Behavior
The dropdown menu should either:
- Display fully within the visible screen area, or
- Be scrollable to access all file options, or
- Automatically position itself above the input field when there’s insufficient space below
