ive hit my 500/500 hard limit, i would of expected the auto mode to ignore gpt 5.0 but its not i just keep getting the
GPT-5 is not currently enabled in the slow pool. Please select another model, or enable usage-based pricing to get more fast requests.
and cursor doesnt proceed, ive checked and im on the latest version that i could download.
Steps to Reproduce
max the chat gpt 5.0 limit then try and generate responses in auto mode
Expected Behavior
expected to ignore gpot 5.0 and use a lesser agent

Hey @Phil_Gibbings , this was a temporary capacity issue regarding GPT-5, but this should be resolved now - thanks for the report

I hit the 500 limit, but tried using auto mode and got the slow pool error “GPT-5.1 is not currently enabled in the slow pool. Please select another model, or enable usage-based pricing to get more fast requests.”
I am on the latest version.
Steps to Reproduce
After the 500 limit, use auto mode.
Expected Behavior
Expect it to use the lower models.

same issue here trying to use 5.2 codex. It makes sense since I have available credits on my account.
