I can't find repos from Origin in Projects

Projects is a great feature, however I am not able to link it with repos from Origin as they do not show up in the list of repos. I’d love to start using Origin, but there are too many obstacles which prevent me from doing so right now, which is a shame.

Hey @Daniel_Quisek, thanks for the feedback!

Origin repositories should be selectable when creating a Project on recent desktop versions, so what you’re seeing isn’t expected. Two things would help us narrow it down:

  • Which Cursor version are you on?
  • Are the repos you’re looking for Origin-native, or Origin copies of GitHub repos? A repo synced from GitHub appears once under its GitHub name rather than as a separate Origin entry, and selecting that row is the right way to use it.

Hi Colin,

Version is 3.20.23 (Universal) and repo is Origin-native, not copy or sync with github. The repo was created by cloud agent from scratch. Attaching a screenshot

Hi @Daniel_Quisek, thanks for the details and the screenshot, that narrowed it down.

You’ve found a real gap on our side: on accounts that aren’t part of a team, the desktop repo list for Projects currently only looks at team repositories, so a repository in your personal Origin space (like danielquisek/pdf-folio) never gets loaded. It isn’t anything you did wrong, and it isn’t related to your version. I’ve passed this to the team.

Hi @Colin , Thanks for your reply. I am glad the bug has been fixed. Is it possible that the same is happening on iOS? I am missing my origin repo there too.

As far as I’m aware this issue hasn’t been fixed yet!

Can you raise a new thread for the iOS / Origin issue?

But I was able to already find the repo in IDE, so I guess it’s been fixed
