Hi comunity! I was lately just working with Cursor (Pro plan) and at a time, the error started to pop up.

I can see an error message that says “The model defaut does not work with your current plan or api key” whe I try to send a message into the chat

I tried selecting specific model, switching off the auto mode.. and even a new chat

But none of these fixed my issue

Do you have any advices on how should I proceed?

PS: I also upgraded to Pro Plus plan cause I though the problem might be exceeding quota

Send a message into the chat with Agent auto on, then the error pops up

Could you please check your usage dashboard and share:

1. Go to Cursor - The AI Code Editor
2. Check your current plan and remaining quota, share a screenshot if that’s okay

Also:

• Do you have any custom API keys configured in Settings > Models?
