Issue Accessing My Cursor Pro Trial on Mac

Describe the Bug

I recently activated a Pro trial on my Cursor account, but when I try to use the app on my Mac, I keep getting the following error message:
Too many free trial accounts used on this machine. Please upgrade to pro. We have this limit in place to prevent abuse.
I am signed in with the correct account that has the Pro trial, but the app still won’t recognize it and blocks me from using Pro features.
Could anyone can help please ?

Steps to Reproduce

When i want to use cursor agent

Operating System

MacOS

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

MY CURSOR VERSION IS 1.4.5 (Universal)

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, thanks for the report. Usually, this error occurs if there’s an attempt to misuse our system, and based on your message, it seems like this might be the case. If you have used other accounts before, our system has likely blocked you. Try upgrading to the Pro plan, and this error should disappear.
