I downloaded latest version after receiving the following message “You seem to be using an outdated version of Cursor. Please upgrade to the latest version by downloading Cursor again from our website.”.
But it doesn’t work after the update with the following message “Connection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN.”
Please give me some advice.

In previous versions, I usually use this way to solve this issue, now I usually restart cursor to bypass this issue.
If you experience this can you click the settings icon (or go to Cursor Settings > Network) and click Run Diagnostics
If the diagnostics are green, click Copy Request Info on the error and paste here.
There is no Diagnostics setting in Cursor settings. And also there is no Network setting in Cursor settings.
Only General, Features, Models, Rules, MCP, indexing, Beta is exist.
Received the same error message when using the old version (the old version is the stablest version for my environment to prevent connection failed).
I downloaded the latest cursor with version 0.50.5, and the connection failed happens again. This is frustrated.
The diagnostics are available in 0.51.x
You can go to Cursor Settings > Beta > Update Frequency: Early Access
Then file menu > Check for update
I resolved through disable HTTP/2.
This is not always the solution. Even though I disabled the HTTP/2, the connection is encountering 95% of failure.
