Hi, I’m runnin into performance issues with Cursor for months on Windows 11. I have a new PC with a Ryzen 9 9950X (16 core). Cursor would sometimes suddenly run on 100% CPU usage which I could only solve by shutting it down. Sometimes it would still have cursor processes up that I can’t close in any way (task manager, cmd, etc. all don’t work). Only solution is to restart PC. For a few days now I also have the problem that after a bit of idling, Cursor would go into some kind of “loading” mode. I see a small blue bar in the top left corner running from left to right below the icons and then nothing would work anymore. Can’t save files, can’t use AI chat, nothing.
It’s really annoying, I’m having these issues multiple times a day.
