With On-demand usage OFF . Does that mean I will never pay more than my $20/month, no matter how much I use Max Mode?
Hey, thanks for the request. If On-demand usage is turned off, the $20/month is a hard cap. You won’t be charged a cent more.
But there’s a catch. Max Mode burns through usage much faster than normal because it’s billed by tokens at the model’s API rates plus the extended context. So the usage included in the subscription can run out pretty quickly.
Once Spending % hits 100%, Max Mode and premium models will be locked until the billing cycle resets. Auto Mode will keep working.
