I just get the email form Cursor Team and they knew my University is on the approved list but they cannot give me the offer if SheerID doesn’t approve. I emailed SheerID and still wait for the reply. I do believe if this problem exists in wide range then we should all email to Cursor Team and find a way out
I also have the “Verification Limit Exceeded” issue, what happened is that when SheerID approved my uni’s email and then It went to checkout, I saw that it wanted to use the account’s email that I was using on the free trial not the actual email of the uni, I’m so dumb I pressed back and not confirm to make sure I’m using that email and then sadly I coudn’t make another attempt with my uni’s email. I tried several times and I still get the same issue. I also emailed [email protected] still got no reply.
yeah. Same issue. The email came that studentId is verified but then it didnot apply the discount. Now I am logging in with the college email then it is showing this limit exceeded screen.
Looks like we’re all having the same issue. It still tries to charge full price, the discount isn’t applied. I guess we just have to wait until they fix it.
