Student Re-Verification Required

Student Re-Verification Support - Not for first time verifications

Dear students,

In September we started re-verifying students from the first batch and the process ended by begin of October. If you see a notification about this on your Cursor Dashboard please check your student emails including spam and trash folders.

Note that at this time the re-verifications are not open anymore. Please do not start a regular verification process as that would not count as a re-verification.

  • Reply in this thread with a brief description of your issue. Do not post your email address or any personal information.
  • Our team will contact you by DM.

Important:
Posting here does not guarantee that your verification will succeed. Cursor staff cannot manually approve verifications or override decisions made by SheerID. Please do not request manual processing or exceptions, as we are unable to fulfill these requests.

I just saw this confusing student status verification notification on my Cursor dashboard. I never applied for student verification and I’m not a student. It said my account will be canceled if I do not re-verify by the said date. Moreover, I didn’t receive any email from Cursor about re-verification as said in the notification. Please help me resolve this issue.

Hi everyone, thank you kindly for posting the issue here. We are aware of it and will correct it. As most of you never had a student account this is an display issue and not related to your account.

We have applied a fix. Could any of you please check if you see the student re-verification still in your Dashboard?
