I’m a student in Spain at UNED, Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, a public Spanish university.
My official student email uses the domain @ alumno.uned.es but Cursor marks my account as “Not eligible” because it is not a .edu address.

I can provide proof of enrollment, student ID, or official university documentation if needed.

Hii @kevinn My student status has been verified, and I also received the email about the student discount. However, when I follow the link, it takes me to the billing page and the discount isn’t reflected at checkout—it still shows the regular $20/month Pro plan.
I am trying to verify my student status for the Cursor Student Program, but I noticed that Cambodia is not available in the Country dropdown list on the verification form.
Could you please add Cambodia as an option or advise me on an alternative way to complete the verification process?
I am currently enrolled at a degree-granting institution in Cambodia and would like to access the student offer.

I can’t believe that a company like Cursor can’t use AI to verify a student status. Sheer ID is collecting all PII data and still unable to verify a student. It is very unproductive and against the message Cursor is making with its AI tool. Hope Cursor looks into this issue and make the process smooth. Please start improving user experience with your company’s process by adopting AI before asking consumers to trust with your AI tool.
I successfully verified my student email through SheerID and got the confirmation. However, our school gives us two edu emails (both go to the same inbox) and I accidentally used a different email than the one under the account. I cannot reverify and the discount is not applied.
I’m currently enrolled at Hudson County Community College (HCCC) and I’m experiencing the same issue as many others here.
My student verification through SheerID was unsuccessful, and I now receive the “Verification Limit Exceeded” message. I’m unable to upload updated documentation even though I can provide additional proof of enrollment (official class schedule or enrollment verification from HCCC).
Could someone please reset or reopen my verification?
