Suddenly blocked for “suspicious activity” – no VPN

Cursor blocks every prompt with the message:

No VPN, proxy, or automation in use.

  1. Launch Cursor desktop app.
  2. Type any prompt in the sidebar.
  3. Hit Enter → instant block dialog appears.

Hey, this might be a temporary error. Try logging out of your account in Cursor and logging back in. Also, restart Cursor and create a new chat. Let me know if this helps.
