Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

User is unauthorized, for each request, Tried logout - login and uninstall and re install on windows.

Steps to Reproduce

Dont use cursor for some days.

Expected Behavior

User is unauthorized, should not be shown and should work properly.

Hey, thanks for the report. Could you please check a few things:

  1. Go to Cursor Settings > Models and see if there’s a custom Base URL set. If there is, remove it.
  2. Sign out via Cursor Settings > General > Sign Out, then sign back in.
  3. Fully close and restart Cursor, not just reload the window.

If you’ve already tried all of that and it still isn’t working, could you share:

  • A screenshot of Cursor Settings > Models
  • The Request ID from the failed request (top-right chat menu > Copy Request ID)

That’ll help us dig deeper into what’s happening on the backend.
