Hey, not only did we have some downtime yesterday which may have caused some issues, but the Gemini 2.5 model is very popular and we are working on scaling up capacity at the moment!
I am also facing the same issue today. How I can fixed it?

Hey, we’ve seen unprecidented demand for the Gemini 2.5 model, and have been working with Google on both bug fixes and capacity increases. We’ve had another increase from Google recently, so these errors should show up much less moving forward!

Same issue. Final stretches of a full-stack web-app refactor for load order, massive context. Gemini ■■■■ gone. Hours now. Tried a new 2.5PRO agent/chat w. 0 context. Agent is there, but then immediately cacks out, Cursor says trouble connecting with model. Then blames my internet (which is fine). We can work with other models/apps, but…G2.5P is just soooooo much faster.

Today I’m going through something strange, mine came back in one project, but when I open the other project I get the same error, how come it’s available in one project and it doesn’t connect in the other???
I managed to solve it, I thought to myself if it works in other projects this one may be having problems due to the chat history, I asked to start a new chat and everything
