Yeah, disabling http 2 didnāt work after all. The agent only replies to the first message. It gets stuck on subsequent messages. I hope it is fixed soon.
sameā¦ has anyone found anything helpful
hey same error, any updates?
Getting same error for last 2 weeks , tried multiple ISPs, no resolution.
"Connection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN
(Request ID: b9c25cc6-4729-4340-af81-40644ed8cec2) "
Guys,
I was able to solve this problem by following these steps:
- Go to Cursor Settings
- Search for āProxyā
- Check āDisable HTTP/2 for all requestsā
Started getting the āConnection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPNā since last night after I upgraded to 0.48.6 version on my linux system. Request id: 6659c79d-7600-4fa4-b14f-943378fd22a4
The above workaround of āDisable HTTP/2 for all requestsā works, but then issues a new error:
Issue started for me today (after working for ~10 requests)
Connection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN
(Request ID: ddc98ad1-23e4-4e21-a19a-134fc9cd2fa0)
I have a stable internet connection.
Reloading doesnāt not address the issue.
Signing out and back in, does not address the issue.
Same issue here! This started yesterday afternoon. I thought maybe I hit a rate limit or something. Tried again this morning, and looks like one prompt went through, then back to the error:
Connection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN
(Request ID: 0eef7cb2-4cbb-48be-a993-76289c4bf1ec)
Cursor, send help!
Seems like if you set it to agent auto, it works, but not on claude sonnet 3.7, which is what i prefer to use.
Unfortunately, for me, no matter what setting I use for the agent I get the same error message.
Same for me. Regardless of agent I try. Itās been doing this for 2 days now.
Iām on an M1 MBP. Could it be cursor connecting through something Apple doesnāt like?
Is it possible that certain users are getting blocked by Cursor? Itās definitely not an internet issue. I can see the Cursor website showing the requests as failing and thus me not being charged. The error message seems like itās obscuring the actual root cause.
Iām a paying user. I do wonder if Iām somehow exceeding what they charge ($0.04) with my requests, Iāve been flagged for being an expensive user, and thus Iām getting rate limited.
Would gladly pay more than $.04/req to continue using the service
same problem
canāt work :C
Seeing the sameā¦ first time ever seeing it.. Just upgraded last night to 0.48.7
This has started for me. Internet and VPN are fine.
Same problem for me.
Iāve tried both agent and ask.
Iāve tried max and none-max models.
Iāve tried anthropic and google models.
just started seeing this issue myself
