Constant connection error

Hey, thanks for the report. Disabling HTTP/2 is a valid workaround for this network issue. Steps: App Settings → search for “HTTP/2” → enable “Disable HTTP/2”. Discussion and solution: Connection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN

If the error persists even after disabling HTTP/2:

  • Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics and share the result
  • Request ID of the failed request from the chat menu → Copy Request ID
  • Cursor version (Help → About), OS, exact reproduction steps, a screenshot of the error, and any errors from DevTools Console

We don’t recommend rolling back to 1.4. If this resolves it for you, let us know and we’ll mark the thread as solved.
