Same I have …ac.in from India. I even got GitHub student pack only if cursor patterned with GitHub student pack which ask for more details and location for verification

I am an international student studying in the US and I kept getting on error for the ID verification and the site says “Verification Limit Exceeded. We’re glad you’re enthusiastic, but it looks like you’ve already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer.”
When will I be able to do the verification steps again?

Yes an .edu email is required for student program.
Please note that the verification process is a one time process. You have to make sure to submit documents and data as required on the SheerID page, without any effects/cleanup or alterations to photos.
If you received an error message on the SheerID page, and if it has a link to SheerID support please use that link to reach out to SheerID.
Sheer “support” is completely unhelpful. It’s like they have a metric that their contract with Cursor that says they have to respond to support issues, so they do reply to you… but it’s robotic and no attempt is made at all to actually help you figure anything out. This is a bad look for Cursor. You’re hoping to get people interested in your product so they’ll use it in their future jobs, but there are a lot out here whose only experience has been the frustration of this stupid Sheer ID debacle.
Something is off with their iOS/web app and the way it controls your device camera. I’m using an iPhone 16 Pro and it would not focus the id in the window. I could not get a solid picture of my ID no matter what “trick” I saw online. So I sent in a support request for help thinking I may have to wait a while but it wouldn’t be a big deal. WRONG.
I recevied an auto-reply:
”Program ID: 681….65
Verification ID: 68c3…..1c5f522
In order for our support team to provide the best assistance, if not already included, please reply with the details below:
- The company name for the offer you are attempting verification
- The stage of the verification process we can help you with”
So of course, I provide everything again. Additionally, since I knew their app had not taken a solid picture of my ID, I followed the instructions to take a full size, no glare, contrasting background, front/back, etc and included it with my reply email.
I’ve done this multiple times now to no avail…
Their (repeated, scripted) reply:
”I understand that you’ve had difficulties verifying your request, and I apologize for any trouble this may have caused. We were unable to verify your government ID based on the images provided.
While we can’t offer further details or support for this specific inquiry, please submit clear, separate images of both the front and back of your ID. Your ticket has now been permanently closed.”
It now says “Verification Limit Exceeded”. So, I’m giving Windsurf a try but of course would still like to get some experience across a variety of tools.

same here, in India my college provided me with .ac.in and this too i got after so much pain as the college admin refused to provide me the mail and I’m in 3rd year and now I’m getting it so please help Cursor.

I am a student from Argentina studying IT and I have an email address with a .edu domain. Many students in Argentina have a cursor. However, when I try to apply for this benefit, Argentina is not available. I have all the necessary documentation. Is there any possibility that I could receive this benefit?
