Stuck in login loop on Cursor app and website

Hi @condor and Cursor Team,
I created a Cursor account with my student email and verified it, but I can’t log in.
Every time I try to sign in (either on the website or the app), I am stuck in a loop and cannot access my account.
I’ve tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox), cleared cache, used incognito, and nothing works.

Please help — I can’t enter my account at all.

hi @Lucas_Minchillo could you share the error message and screenshot of the error so we know where to check?

I assume you logged into Forum with your Cursor account email address.

Describe the Bug

I’m unable to log into Cursor using my university email (@edu)

After clicking “Sign in,” I briefly see “Loading dashboard,” but then it redirects back to the login page — no error is shown.

Steps I’ve already tried:

Different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)
Incognito/private mode
Clearing cookies and cache
Disabling extensions
Switching networks
Still facing the same login loop. It might be related to Google OAuth restrictions for university domains.

Any help would be appreciated.

How to reproduce the issue:

Go to https://cursor.com
Click Sign In
Choose Continue with Google
Select a student account ending with @st.amu.edu.pl
Observe: After “Loading dashboard…” appears briefly, you’re redirected back to the login page.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Could you please clarify, you mention @st.amu.edu.pl but video shows @fmu.edu.br
Does the issue happen on both domains?

I have notified the team to check the login.

not the same domain but kinda same issue. I have reached out to the support email but issue not resolved yet.

I am experiencing the same issue with Github login and email login right now. I have tried multiple browsers.

Team is still looking into it. Issue is likely with domain.

I am not using a student email if that helps at all. Just a normal email (@me.com) and I usually can log in through githubs Oauth.
