Student mail should be stu.kmu.kr. isn’t it?
As far as I know, old student can use stu.kmu.kr email either.
Suddenly Downgrade from PRO to Trial after student verify success
I’ve successfully verified and applied the student discount with successful payment ($0) 12 hours before. But now, the account is downgraded from PRO to Trial.
What’s going on? I’ve still got the receipt for the subscription.

But I see that only .edu addresses can be used. Can this Korean email address be used?

I’m a student and I noticed that Cursor offered a free 1-year Pro plan for students yesterday. I tried to sign up for it today, but the free student option was no longer available, and I was charged for the Pro subscription instead.
Could you please help me:
- Cancel my current Pro subscription and issue a refund, and
- Grant access to the free Student Pro plan if it’s still available?
I can provide proof of my student status if needed.

Hi there, I registered an account using my school email (■■■@edu.k.u-tokyo.ac.jp) and successfully verified it (I clicked “Apply Discount” and get an "Finish Verifying"email.), but I still can’t get the student discount.
Because you are not an American student, it seems that only American students can easily apply, and we are treated differently
It would be great if the student discount stuff was given it’s own category, and the existing posts moved to it.
That way every other category isn’t flooded with posts by new users that are irrelevant to everyone else.

So what should we do if we applied with a personal account before? SheerID only runs verification once, and the edu email used to log in cannot use the discount. 
Please consider adding India to this program, thanks.
is philippines not included in the said free pro plan?
Hi, unfortunately in Italy most universities don’t use the .edu pattern but studenti. is there a way to verify the status in another way?

@danperks, a significant number of people are in this boat. What happens now that we’re already verified (using no. 8 in your post, I always get a verified email from sheerID to apply discount)
Hey, i verified successfully but i have this problem now…
I created my Cursor account with Github, and my Github account have a hidden iCloud mail… can’t change.
I followed the entire process and verified my student account using SheerID and signed up for Cursor Pro but my account was debited $20 instead of me being given the free student membership. Could I please get a refund as I really cannot afford this. I already sent an email to [email protected] but I have not received a response.
Request: You should add universities in uk which use .ac.uk as the end of the education email into whitelist. At the moment, universities like University of Glasgow I’m in cannot be verified simply because of lack of .edu in email address.

Hey, I’ve looged in using SheerID to my university’s email, and I got this email confirming my student status. However I do not get the discount. What can I do please?
