Trying here again @condor . Sheer sent me an email back simply saying “send another request”. But yet again, I have Verification Limit Exceeded. Not sure how to send a new request when I’m not allowed to.

I am unable to verify my student status and am getting the Verification Limit Exceeded error. After submitting a support request to SheerID, they told me to try again, but it still isn’t working.

I got verified via SheerID and got the link as well for further verification, upon pressing the continue verifying link for Cursor, I get this issue. Could you please advise on next steps or provide an alternative method to complete verification? I am trying again but it shows limit exceeded.
I tried to verify three times with a driver’s license but each time it gave me an error. When I tried to verify again it gave me the verification limit exceeded message. I contacted SheerId support and they said “We are unable to process your verification request.” What should I do?
I’m having the same issues as everyone else with the “We are unable to verify you at this time” after uploading U.S. based documents to SheerID multiple times. My documents were accepted and only breaks after clicking the final link. I contacted SheerID and all they said was “We are unable to process your verification request” without any context or form of continuation trying to diagnose the problem.
This issue seems to be common and have persisted for many months across the forums - I haven’t found a fix other than linking a generic FAQ that doesn’t address it.

I’ve tried everything to get verified and nothing is working and now there’s nothing I can do. Sheerid is no help either as they just send me to cursor. I used a driver’s license and should be verified.
I also have same issue. I reached out to SheerID team but the link they sent to me is not working at all. Can you please fix this issue.
Hi! I am a graduate student at a US public university, and my classmates and I have been instructed to download Cursor and to get a subscription through student verification. I talked to my classmates, and NONE of us have been successful. I contacted both SheerID and Cursor, and while I have not yet heard back, one of my classmates contacted SheerID, who said they need to contact Cursor. Some of my classmates are now out of verification attempts. This is what happened on my end:
I created an account with my .edu email. I entered the same email and all of my info into the SheerID verification process. I scanned the QR code and uploaded pictures of my driver’s licence. I received two emails from SheerID: “Get verified for Cursor” and “We have successfully confirmed your identity”. Both emails instruct you to press a button to finish verification, but when I press either button, I get the same error message: “We’re unable to verify you using the information submitted”. I tried this again with the exact same result. My school works with Gmail, so we have both a @school.edu email and a @g.school.edu email (they are the same email address and both work fine). I had first tried with the normal @school.edu email, so I tried again with the @g.school.edu email. This time I was able to get a slightly different error message, but it happened at the exact same point: “Sorry, the page you requested can’t be found”. I’ve tried clicking on verify link on different browsers and on both my phone and my computer, with the same results.
I’ve used SheerID before (same email and same driver’s licence) and successfully verified my identity. Considering that none of my classmates have been able to verify their identity either, I am led to believe this is an issue with Cursor.
Our first day of class is tomorrow, and I would appreciate a solution as soon as possible.

I am encountering the same issue with verifying my student status. I am currently located in the US and used my valid .edu email address, but the verification failed three times. I would like to try again, but the system has locked me out of further attempts. Could you please look into this for me?

Hi! I am also having verification issues.
@condor I also have the same issue with verifications. Attempted verified via student ID (got notice of invalid document) and my NJ driver license. Both received email of successful verification but when I click continue verification from the email received I got error message as people above.
I contacted sheerID several times via email and every time they never help and close the tickets with the most popular “we can’t assist” message people face. This is frustrating. Now verification limit is even exceeded and I can’t do nothing.
